Organic Cycle Guide
Like Nature, the Organic Cycle is harmony and
balance in all things.
Guide to
Understanding the
Organic Cycle
Ever
heard that refrain that goes: "The old grey mare, she ain't what she
used to be?" That's what I think of whenever I consider the many things
mankind
has done while trying to control some aspect of Nature. Environmental
pollution. Sound pollution. Visual pollution. Chemical pollution of our
bodies.
The list of man-made destructions is growing day by day.
I
'm not suggesting that we should return to days of old. As if that
would ever be possible... much less desirable or attainable. There
are some general facts, though, that we as a species need to
acknowledge. Facts
about Nature that will never change, regardless of what humans do to
the
contrary. Facts about the Organic Cycle.
Generalizations About Nature and the Organic
Cycle
Back
when our ancestors were wearing animal skins and living in caves, no
thought was given to the causes and cures for disease. No need to:
Nature's checks and balances kept their bodies in proper working order
for them. If
not, they either died or went extinct. Nature's way.
Either
way, harmony and balance was restored. Humans didn't have to do a thing
except
get on with their lives. That
may seem like a cruel and heartless attitude to you. The fact is,
Nature could not care less! Survival of the fittest is a fact of life.
It's
also a primary directive, so to speak, of the Organic Cycle.
How the Organic
Cycle is Maintained by Nature
Let's look
at an example, and call
our example cave-dweller couple, Mug and Wump. Mug's
daily job consists of bringing home the bacon, quite literally in those
days. Wump kept the hearth and helped teach the kids,
Muggy and Wumpy, to fend for themselves. Remember,
survival was the name of the game, not social standing or wealth and
fame. Harmony and
balance, with Nature constantly looking over their shoulders and making
corrections when needed.
Caution:
Reality follows...
One day,
Mug brought home a hog, warts and all. Since cooking fires hadn't been
discovered yet, the hog was roughly cut apart and every piece of it was
eaten raw--by everyone. Including toothless Grandma, sitting in the
rear of the
cave, gumming scraps and sucking the marrow from the bones she had
stolen from the others. Unfortunately,
the hog meat gave Grandma and Wumpy some serious dysentery, and both
died. Of
course, Mug and Wump and Muggy moaned and cried alot, and no one really
understood what had happened.
They just
accepted it. Even though they didn't know, it was Nature's way. Always
hard at work in the background, always trying to restore balance and
harmony. Mug, Wump
and Muggy all got stronger, though--and healthier. The next day, so
their
bodies wouldn't stink up the cave, Wump, Muggy and Mug dragged
Grandma's and
Wumpy''s carcasses out into the
forest, where they were left for the beasts and insects to consume.
Other
living beings feasted. It was just a part of the natural organic cycle.
Nature
balanced
and harmonized this little scenario with tainted pork. Survival of the
fittest. In the
meantime, the Organic Cycle came full circle.
The Organic Cycle In Modern Times
You may
believe there is no connection between what mankind is doing to itself
and the environment, and the uptick in natural phenomena that are often
very destructive. That's your perogative. You may
also believe that modern drugs have lengthened our lives and made them
better as a result. That also is your choice. And you
would be right--to a certain extent.
Even though
most modern, non- organic drugs come with side effects than are often
more dangerous
and deadly than the very disease they were invented to cure, would that
belief still be your choice? Quantum
physics is now demonstrating irrefutably that all things are
interconnected.
Modern
society is just beginning to realize the
full impact our "modern inventions" and "modern chemicals" are having
on the environment and
our bodies and our minds. And the quality of our lives. Nature is
attempting to restore harmony and balance. This is no longer a type of
"the sky is
falling," frenzy, as so many skeptics claim.
It Is Really Happening
Look
around. The evidence of Nature's efforts to restore balance is
everywhere. Witness the
numerous earthquakes that are taking thousands upon
thousands of lives. Or the floods, that are visiting havoc on so many
communities around the world. Count the
number of tornadoes, hurricanes and cyclones that are
becoming daily news reports. Not to mention the many active volcanoes
and
their natural ability to alter the atmospere--and the weather--within
hours.
What would
be your interpretation of these events? What do you think will be
Nature's response to the fouling of the Gulf of Mexico with millions
and millions of gallons of raw
petroleum? Can you
foresee the death of a major seafood resource and oceanic body in our
lifetime? Does anyone really believe there will be no impact on the
food chain? The global economy?
And no one
has even talked yet about what will happen if the oil gets into the
Gulf Stream and in turn the Atlantic Ocean. Food
shortages are spreading globally, as are declining availability of
freshwater resources. The next war may not be fought over land or a
political agenda.
Our
actions as a species are pushing the human organic cycle far out of
balance.
Bringing About Organic Change
It
seems as
if Nature is not waiting for another major war, as in the past, to
restore balance and harmony. This is not a doom and gloom scenario.
This time it's very real. If change
is going to take place in our societies, we need to raise our
voices--as a species. If enough
Organic Cycle / Nature minded humans speak out, the changes will take
place.
Tell
your governments and corporations you will not accept destruction of
your natural resources, your environment, your body, as a cost of doing
business, no matter what the financial gain! Now is
that time. SPEAK OUT!
You have to make it happen. It's
imperative for the survival of our species.
If we don't
take measures immediately, Nature most definitely will.
