Organic Food Products

For several decades now, scientists and researchers have been studying the organics of our food products . The kind of synthetic chemicals they might contain. How they interact. But the question remains: How are they affecting you? Your kids? Your family's short-term and long-term health issues?

No matter whether it's apples or broccoli, many farming and agriculture operations producing non- organic food products use fertilizers and other commercially-produced growing materials. Those non- organic products get watered into the soil, and the run-off is substantial. And many times, deadly. And it all eventually ends up in your drinking water.

The most recent social movements invite buzz words like the "green revolution," "healthy living," and "healthy eating." You have the right to know whether your foodfish was harvested through organic methods or not. If so, how? If not, why not?

Organic farming as an industry has yet to reach the needed levels of awareness, even after 3 or more decades of playing at organics. That place where there is no question about the chemicals of their growing solutions, including fertilizers, root stimulants, growth additives and others.

That the water is not contaminated with toxins--which, by the way, include chlorine and fluoride. Their production equipment and facilities. Are they free of toxic chemical residues?

All basic requirements of true organic farming and agriculture. All questions we should be asking of our farming and agriculture operations.
